Figueres Country
Figueres is a city with 45,000 people or more, it's 38 km far from Girona, is the capital of Alt Emporda, in the province of Girona, Catalonia. In this town Salvador Dalí was born, his house has a Theatre-Museum, you can see its photo here on the right, another museum is the Museum of Toys. Narcís Monturiol, the inventor of
the first submarine, was also born in Figueres.
